Position Summary
Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring (Aspen Hill), MD has an immediate opening for a secretary to assist the cemetery manager by performing clerical, typing and general office duties, including record keeping, front desk and telephone reception and selling cemetery goods and services to the public. Must have positive customer service experience and be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability and willingness to work flexible five-day work week during Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM office hours. High school diploma/GED, at least one-year secretarial experience and a clean driver’s record are required. No prior cemetery experience necessary. Second Career candidates welcome.
